SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: For PC and Apple/Mac's

Download the software for your computer. 

PC User: Download Software  Mac OS X User Only: Download Software    Previous versions of the Mac OS are not supported.

    SlipStream Web Accelerator can now be installed on any of the following operating systems:

Windows 95b w/ Winsock2
Windows 98
Windows 98SE
Windows Millennium Edition (WinME)
Windows NT 4.0
Windows 2000
Windows XP
Mac OS X

SlipStream Web Accelerator works best with Internet Explorer 4.0 and Netscape 4.0 or any later version of either browser (Internet Explorer 5.0 and newer is recommended for best performance).

Newer versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer are available for free through Microsoft.

Note for Windows 95 users: Currently, Microsoft does not permit Windows 95 users to install Internet Explorer 6 or newer onto that operating system, however Internet Explorer 5.5 is available for Win95 users.

The hardware requirements are as follows:

The recommended system requirements for the SlipStream Web Accelerator are a Pentium 200MHz with 64MB of RAM and at least 5 MB of hard-disk space.

Setup instructions

Choose a dial-up number that is local to you using your area code and prefix. Write this number down for later use.
Click "download software", then choose SAVE, then choose Desktop, then click ok.
Once download has completed go to the file you just downloaded on your desktop.
Now double click the file to start the install process.
Step 1. Click NEXT
Step 2. Check the box that you agree and then click NEXT
Step 3. Click NEXT
Step 4. Click FINISH
Step 5. We would like you to restart now.

Now open your dialer and put in the local to you number you wrote down at the start. Now click connect.
After you have logged on lets make sure SlipStream is running. You may see an icons that looks like a circle next to your clock.
Click it once and click Start SlipStream.

You are now ready to start using slipstream accelerated dial-up!
